Testing for the redeveloped Elementary Education (Grades K–6) (702) test is anticipated to start in summer 2026. Check back to this page for more information as it becomes available, including test design, preparation materials, and test dates.

The current Elementary Education (Grades 1–6) (305) test is scheduled to retire in summer 2027.

The Elementary Education (Grades K–6) test features a modular structure consisting of six testlets. Each testlet represents a key content area of the test.

This testlet-based model is designed to give you more flexibility in how you take and pass the test.

In a single testing session, you may register to take any combination of testlets, including all six testlets.
