Elementary Education (Grades 1–6) (305)

The Elementary Education (Grades 1–6) (305) test is undergoing redevelopment and is scheduled to be retired in summer 2027. The redeveloped Elementary Education (Grades K–6) (702) test is also expected to be available in summer 2026.

Format	Computer-based test; 150 multiple-choice questions
Time	4 hours and 15 minutes total appointment time 15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement 4 hours testing time
Test Dates	Administered by appointment year-round, Monday through Saturday (excluding some holidays). Check seat availability .
Test Sites	Located in Illinois and nationwide. Locate a test center .
Passing Score	240
